House of Fraser are the leading, national premium department store group in the UK and Ireland with 160 year history in the UK retail market. House of Fraser prides itself on their commitment to providing an imaginative, exciting and relevant shopping experience to their customers. They wanted to build on this reputation by offering a home delivery service for their Wedding List Service.
Solution / Implementation
House of Fraser wedding list customers visit their local store and scan the items that they want to add to their ‘wish list’, this then becomes a pick list at their distribution centre (DC). They then have the opportunity to collect their gifts from the store or have the whole list delivered to their room of their choice at their home address within a two hour window of their choice or an AM/PM delivery for Saturday deliveries.
As CitySprint has extensive network of service centres, we were able to offer House of Fraser national coverage for this service. Working with the DC and the local stores, we co-ordinate the best times for the items to be collected and then plan the delivery to the newlyweds, often calling them beforehand to introduce themselves and to confirm the delivery details, offering a white gloved delivery service which truly reflects the House of Fraser brand.
We have delivered over 90,000 gifts to over 1500 happy couples.
